Cost Effective
How cost effective is it? In many cases, it’s free. The special software package we lease from the post office assigns a barcode to each of your addresses. It then removes all the addresses it recognizes as undeliverable, so you don’t have to pay postage on pieces that won’t even get there. The barcodes allow the mail to be processed automatically and the post office then gives you a discount on your postage. This savings can, in many cases, be more than the cost of our addressing. The software is updated every couple of months, so it’s accurate, but it’s not perfect. You may still have a few pieces returned, but you’ll be way ahead of the game.
